Program Overview
The Pre-School program develops and extends skills in the following areas:
- Language development
- Shape and color recognition
- Large and small motor skills
- One to one correspondence
- Sequencing
- Predicting
- Graphing
- Problem solving, and
- Character education
The students also operate with a general theme for the month. During this time the students are exposed to pre-reading activities and math concepts. The program utilizes music, singing, puzzles, finger-plays, story telling, books, puppets, manipulatives, and take home projects.
These tools enable the student to develop their language skills, build self esteem, aid in self control, and developing independence.
