Program Overview
Our Toddler program is a continuing process for students fifteen (15) to twenty-four (24) months. Within this program, the toddlers will develop and extend the following skills:
- Color recognition of the eight basic colors
- Large and small motor control
- Language development
The toddlers will learn to recognize their own bodies and the space around them. They will also build their sight vocabulary each week with large colorful picture cards. They will extend their language skills with nursery rhymes and fingerplays.
Toddlers will explore colors and with each month they will enjoy foods, sights, and poems that represent that color. They will practice cutting, pasting, and feeding themselves to develop small motor skills.
